Every year the Blue School community comes together in celebration and support at the annual Spring Benefit, fittingly called Spread Love. It is the biggest (and most fun!) fundraiser of the year!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Spread Love?

The Spread Love Spring Benefit is the annual community celebration of Blue School. It is the second of two fundraising moments in the year. Our hope is for 100% community involvement. It's a fantastic night to support and celebrate everything we love about Blue School.

What is the format of the event?

The evening consists of cocktails and conversation, interactive games and photobooth, followed by dinner. The program, honoring Frank Oz for his inspiration and work in the arts and education, will include a Fund-A-Need as well as performance by Broadway's Mykal Kilgore. The evening culminates in more food, drinks, photos and games (including silent disco).

Has anything changed this year?

Yes! The Parent Fundraising Committee is working with the Advancement Department to create a fun and engaging evening to entertain and inspire. Based on feedback, we've cut the Live Auction segment of the evening and will host ONLY a silent auction (online) and a live Fund-A-Need at the event. We've also decided to save money (and trees) by cutting the Journal and Journal Ads this year.

I can’t attend but I want to support the cause. Should I still buy a ticket?

We appreciate your thoughtfulness and support! If you are unable to attend, the best way to contribute is to make a donation. And you can still bid on silent auction items even if you are not in attendance!

How can I contribute to the Silent Auction?

We would love your support in helping us create the most dynamic online auction ever! We are looking to curate an incredible auction catalog filled with unique experiences, one-of-a-kind opportunities, and amazing items. The deadline for item donations is Thursday, April 18th.

What kind of items are you looking for?
