Placement Process

Blue School’s high school placement process evolves out of deep partnership between each student, their family and the High School Placement Director. Our High School Placement Director is a member of the middle school team who knows each student’s academic, creative and social strengths and challenges and works with families to explore independent, public, specialized and boarding school options that are right for each individual student.

The High School Placement Director meets with each student and family privately, starting in 7th grade and as needed. We also host several mandatory evenings for families to help them fully understand admissions processes and procedures, timelines and expectations.
