Drop-in classes for 0-3 year olds
Blue School is excited to welcome you to our Little Blue Clubhouse. These drop-in classes are a beautiful way for you and your little one to join our community and begin your journey with Blue School.
Little Blue Book Club
At Blue School, stories give children voice. This voice can be loud and proud, soft and strong, spoken or sung or entirely non-verbal: expressed with materials or movement or a good giggle.
You and your toddler are warmly invited to come share stories - and songs, materials, movement and giggles - with us at Blue School. Join our Little Blue Book Club. Your voices are welcome!
This class meets on Fridays from 9:15-10:15 beginning September 20th, 2019 (see schedule below). No registration required. The cost is $30 per class. Each class will be taught by two teachers and will have a book grounding the experience. There will also be related songs to sing and materials to explore. Each family will leave with a list of other books connected to the theme of the day.
Little Blue Yogis
At Blue School we believe that self and social learning are integral to a balanced education. We also believe that children have so much to teach adults. Particularly inspiring is the full engagement young children can bring to their play; whether for short or long moments, they are all in, not “practicing” mindfulness--just doing it. When fully engaged with our children, we’re doing it as well.
Our Little Blue Yogis class is a chance to fully engage with your toddler in mindful movement and play, sensory exploration, song and conscious breathing. We warmly invite you to take a moment in your busy week to find focus, calm and community together.
This class meets on Wednesdays from 1:45-2:45 beginning September 25th, 2019 (see schedule below). No registration required. The cost is $30 per class. Each class will be taught by two teachers and will include toddler-appropriate yoga practice and songs.
